The 'bursting fire sweeps' video really helped me improve my three-burst shots. I never figured that dragging down my mouse would actually hit my bullets where I want them to.

Yea - it works extremely well in CS 1.5-1.6 in that you could "control" about 8-10 bullet burst fires with the technique. Those that didn;t know about this often accused others who knew it (probably a handful did - i personnaly never saw anyone use it besides us) of no-recoil hack. The technique when applied for CS: source is still effective for about 5-7 bullets tops. The 8'th and above ones are not "controllable" for source. A video showing this technique in pub games will be up soon. Just need more footage and to put the video together.

If you saw the walling video you will see that walling in CS:S is limited compared cs 1.6

The visual burst fire guide I thought was good. I knew about spray patterns and such in 1.6, but never knew that in source it changes with distance. That really intrigued me.

The physics in CS:S is more realistic now. It seems that scource actually compensates for gravity - bullets fired from long range will be visibliy lower than the actual middle of the crosshairs due to this. So aim a little above or at the tip of the head when firing from long and very long ranges.

I am one of those people who will ridicule you for sucking, but I go easy on the real beginners. My advice to you is buy + study the WoP CS guide, and follow it exactly, even if the mechanics of the game don't feel right to you at first, I guarantee that what feels right to you now is an inferior playing style. If you don't believe it just watch the pwnzorz in action on the WoP server, which is the 2nd best way to learn to play -- Watch what the good people do.

Hi Guys,

Comment:

I bought the guide a bit over a week ago and I have been pretty impressed by it  First im trying to master AK coz i used to be a 2 bulleter!!

I have a lot of bad CS habbits that I have to unlearn in order to make these new ones stick. The absolute worst thing for me thought is that I got a slow ass computer that every time i get into a fight with more than one person on screen my fps drops below 30fps and im playing 1.6!!! And im too poor to upgrade atm

"I have a dream"!! to one day I can do the same as you guys and pwn on pubs.

Thanks Guys

Hero

P.S Anyone who hasn't got it better get it now to start PWNING!!!

well i didnt buy this book to improve.I was just very ancy to read it to see how other people play. And im very fascinated with it.I have already developed my own playing style long ago.But when attempting some of your tactics i blended them with my own.And found that i was actually learning from someone elses gameplay.I love the book
