I need help deciding what character class I should be in WoW... I'm gonna start playing a little bit. I was looking online and I am fairly certain I want to be a night elf, and I was considering a druid, warrior, or possibly hunter. If some knowledgable person would please let me know a little about the practicability of these classes or any others I missed, I would appreciate it.

Hey solid I have 4 lvl 60's...depending on what you want to do wars are tanks not damage....hunters are what you call low risk dps, which means they sit at a distance and cause a lot of damage. But since they are so far away they dont usually get attacked first and also they have a pet. They can wear mail armor at 40 to.

Best way to make money and gain experience...kill everything, make sure ur bags are empty as much asu can when u leave town...dont do a profession just get like mining or skinning and sell the materials on the auction house. Will make you rich. Professions just cost too much money. Try and find a good guild to they can help you out with quests and such that are elite or red color to you.

cool deathwish, thanks for the tips. I might go with hunter since it's similar to the character class I played on RO. Are rogues any good?

Hey I got WoW yesterday night and I'm a level 10 Night Elf Warrior. I don't know what skills to get but I don't think I want to be a pure defensive tank.... I'd like to be a decent soloer, but not a pure DPS. Anybody have suggestions for skill tree? so far I just have held off on getting skills cuz I don't want to screw it up hahaha.

I wouldn't suggest going rogue because rogue is the most "Overpopulated" Class.

Another thing is you will have to solo most of the time because your going to have a hard time finding a group that will accept you. I found that out on my rogue and thats why I switched to Priest. (Priests get much faster groups for healing). And it is very hard for a rogue to get an end-game instance group.
As I sid before... rogues are overpopulated. Reroll another class but not hunter. Hunters are the 2nd most overpopulated class.

Check out: www.warcraftrealms.com
There, you will find the % of rogues or anyother class played on your server.
