radeon 850xt
1 gig ram
19" l90d hyundai flat screen


i mainly am just wondering if 850xts are any good,i spent like 450 bucks on it ,i know i could of got a 800


also is does the 850 as good as some of the top of the line nvidias?

really? i was kinda pissed that no magazines talk about radeons as much as the geforces....

yea my processer is teh suck,i just got my moniter so ima start saving for a 3200 64 bit or so

ehh my 7800 gtx pwns all for sure...and up until about a year ago id have gone with radeon....but theyve been laggin behind lately...the reason for o ATI coverage is because there hasnt been any big changes since the 9800 pro back 2-3 years ago...nvidia has been poppin stuff out every 4-6 months so its hard to cover something that hasnt been producing...yah the 3200 is weak save up get like a 3800....they can be overclocked to faster then a fx-57 : )

True. My fps sometimes dips below 100 (especially on the new Militia). That's with an X850XTPE and Athlon 64 3200+.

Upgraded to that about 9 months ago, so it's going to have to last me at least another year and a half.

Try putting -heapsize 524288 in the CSS launch options. Helped me.

Also, try the latest Omega drivers from http://www.omegadrivers.net

hazard, that's only if you have over a gig of ram, otherwise that'll **** your game up

i have a gig though,and i use that command now ,it works great



FYI...Your eyes can only see about 90 fps or so lol,so any higher doesnt make much of a difference

its actually 60 but wut ever i like having 210 fps all the time

Yeah, I just upgraded to 2 gig so my heapsize is doubled.
