Hello im new to the WoP world and am looking for help on my mouse. I just recently baught a Logitech G5 and am wondering how it compares to the razer copperhead? If anyone can give me some intel that would be most appriciated.

Thanks St. Michael

I dont have the G5 but I did use the MX510 about a year ago to play CS. It's tracking and responsiveness is about the same as the Razer diamondback. As for the button layout, I actually thought it was better than the razers; I could press any of the buttons easily without accidently hitting one when playing cs. The mx510 was larger than the razers. Razer diamond back and copperhead are almost identical in shape and are much smaller than my hands. The weight of the logitech was too heavy for me. I found out that there was a weight on the cover and removed it. Razer's mouses are light; maybe too light for some people but for me its not light enough lol.

So

Performance wise: same
Pricewise: same
Looks/Style/Pwnageness: Razer is cooler (cooperhead is a little cooler than diamondback for me, the diamondback did come with a pouch)
Weight: your preference - i like mine really light
Layout of buttons: Logitech
Size: Your preference - i like razer's smaller size

I was surprised by the weight, having been used to MS Intellimouse Explorer 3.0. However I am now very comfortable with my MX510. We are as one. 8)

I realise there are guides (with pictures!) about how to remove the weight, but I don't feel the need.

Well, I am 6'6 with big hands, after all :D

I'll post the diamondback cfg file tonight.

But I have it all turned on max - dpi = 2000, poling rate=1000, no acceleration, max speed for general, 4.5 for x and y, and enabled the independent x-y movement option.

The weights - you have to open the mouse to find out. There are guides on the web to do this but I didn;t do it yet. I could pwn with the mouse right out of the box so y mess with it? LOL

price : ?41 / $70

it really is a fantastic mouse, everything about it screams style. its even got a little box to put the weights in :)

you change the weights through an illuminated spring loaded weight cartridge, you get 8 x 1.7g weights and 8x4.5g weights so you can do what i usually do and keep it heavy with a high dpi

Button layout is fantastic with a few strangities, only irritant is that if your left handed you cant use this mouse.lookily i'm normal:)

DPI : does 700 / 1200 or 2000 . 2000 is absolutely amazing for AWP work, i have it really heavy on the front of the mouse and light at the back so i can spin kill. If you want to disable your mouse leave it on 2000dpi,most people cant use it.

style: it looks georgeous, shame theirs no light shining down, i wanted to blind after being pwned.pretty nice orange theme.

as to razer comparison i would rate it as better due to amazing DPI and comfort.
