Favourites list fix

For anyone who is still having trouble with the in-game favourites list I found a workaround posted on the steampowered forums:

1. Load CSS
2. Click Find Servers
3. Click on Favorites
4. Open Change filters drop down menu
5. click Anti-cheat - secure
6. Reload CSS
7. Favorites - Refresh

If you could see servers through STEAM -> servers before ? you will see them in the game as before.

If this method do not work at once, delete file serverbrowser.vdf and do it again


For this to work you can't switch the filter back to all...until valve actually fixes this. Also, each time you start CSS you favs will be blank, but as soon as you hit refresh they will appear.

it worked. thanks alot cuz i was tired of having to exit cs to use the servers list from steam to get into a different server from my favs. :roll: stupid valve

lol. well, I probably play too much in the evening. I'm gonna start cutting back to like... 1, 2 hours max a night, and only for scrim purposes like sky proposed in the clan section. That way I can spend more time with my family and prioritize my CS time. <3

My wife has her own PC... we play together, or Friday nights she watches all the crappy shows she's recorded on the DVR while I drink beer and frag.

lolz. My wife has her own computer too, we USED to play a bunch of games together, she won't play cs because she freaking sucks at it, she always wants me to play UT with her or RagnaroK Online....... eww. my wife and I used to watch Stargate SG-1 together but now it's gay =( =( CRY!
