The only way to join WoP now is through a majority vote. Why? Cuz if no one likes you in a clan why do you want to join? Its bad for the clan and for the recruit. So join another clan that wants/needs/likes/accepts you.

Hazard, let me elaborate on your situation a little...
We have recently implemented a "Voting policy" in the clan, and we are voting on necessity of new clan members. Since we were for a while just recruiting everyone who wanted to join that was cool or pretty good.

Hazard since your main induction to the clan would to be playing CAL matches (i assume) we considered that it would take a lot of work to build and shape you into the "scrim soldier" that we would need you to be. Plus, we already have like 7 "starters" that we are trying to rotate regularly, as well as our other members so they get to play. The more people we get, the harder it is to keep everyone happy.

I asked myself this question "is hazard ready to pwn up some cal-m noobs?" and my answer was no... work on your skills and feel free to pug/scrim with us whenever possible and we may change our minds.

If you feel you have something more valuable to bring to the clan then please let us know. <3!

Heh. Yeah, my intention was to play CAL with you guys.

I had a (drunken) wakeup call on Friday evening last week, when I played in a couple of scrims with some of you guys + Haqshot. I didn't do well (not badly either, but let the team down on a couple of occasions). I could offer up excuses (beer, my first ever CSS scrims) but I'm not going to. My scrim sense simply isn't up to par. All I can do is stick around, hopefully impress you guys, and have fun all the while. Also I play in ESEA pickup games, though that's 1.6, but at least it gives me experience in a non-pub scrim type setting.

I'm still a pubstar though :p

1.6 strategy = source strategy. If you know how to pull it together in 1.6, all you need to do is apply the same principles to source and you'll do fine...
