This is a car advertisement from Great Britain. When they finished filming the ad, the film editor noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist

They found out that a person had been killed a year earlier in that exact same spot. The ad was never put on TV because of the unexplained ghostly phenomenon.

Watch the front end of the car closely as it clears the trees in the middle of the screen

and you'll see the white mist crossing in front of the car then following it along the road

....Spooky!

And don?t forget to look closely and it isn?t very clear

Yeah, not the best one i've ever seen... Bugger if I can remember it.

With these kinds of vids, there's a couple things they do to help improve the prankability of it.

1) Make time between start and scare long enough to Be what it pretends to be.
3) Build suspense/interest by taking advantage of where the viewer's natural spot to focus on lies.
4) ... Don't ruin it by having instructions like "Turn up the volume," You can get people to do that by having the volume quieter than normal at the beginning.
5) Use a nightmarish image; Pick something from Lovecraft... Or Geiger(sp, that guy who did the artwork for the ALIEN movies)
