I decided to buy a razer, need help.

they have like 3 models, cooper head and 2 daimond backs?
which is the best. also they have two pads exact mat and mantis, which is better?

I don't have one so I'm not the most knowledgable....but the copperhead is supposed to be better.

The diamondback is a pretty safe bet - 30 bucks now at amazon?

Most CS players who have used it likes it.

The copperhead is more expensive and does have higher dpi (2000) and has adjustable poling rates - however if you can not or do not play CS with very high sensitivity then this mouse probably is not worth it. Also been reading that some of these mouses sometimes lose control or goes wacky if you install drivers improperly and some reports of bugs too.


SO my suggestion is to just buy the diamondback which is less expensive and as good as the copperhead in terms of performance. And if you really like it and wear it out in like 6 months then buy the copperhead - which feels (weight and grip) almost exactly like the diamondback.


Side note: consider buying a good mouse pad too. Thunder 8 is the best mouse pad payne and I have played with.

I brought the exact mat and tested it and IT SUCKS for gaming. It is packaged all well and is scratch resistent, also made of aluminum. The rubber feets do a better job holding the pad down than most mouse pads too. Also large area and good design - an arc at the bottom so that your wrist is not on the mousepad.

The surface feel is not as good as the thunder 8. The mouse seems to skip when at 2000 dpi and I don't have full control over it. The micro bumps on the speed and control side seem to be messing up how the laser's picks up movement. Tried it for 2-2.5 solid week of CS with the copperhead and diamondback. Couldn't get full control with it with either mouse. So its not worth buying to me.

well i went with the cooperhead. reasons:
a. i have an mx518, so the cooperhead actually has technological improvments in it over the mx.
b. the reason i buy dhe cooperhead is because it's smaller then the mx. and i have absurdly small hands, wouldn't be that absurd if i wasn't 1.83 tall.

and i cant buy a Thunder 8. since the shipments costs of it to israel are 40 bucks, and shipment for the exactmat and cooper are 5 euros TOGATHER!

Israel is not on any lockdown and is a part of the free world.
