How to Play a Scrim Position - de_dust2 - Mid

so I was ringing for this team, they weren't that great, but neither was teh other team. But I agreed to play mid. I had no idea what I was doing, if anyone wants to share how they play the mid position on de_dust2 that would be real cool.

These situations really interest me
I couldn't afford an awp half the time from dying so often - was really confused then.

When I did have an awp I sat back watched spawn at first, then short - but I wasn't sure when to switch from spawn to short

And finally what heppens when it gets smoked?

i play mid for WoP on d2 usually....

i play aggressive at first, unless i'm getting sniped a lot by the other team... which usually doesn't happen.

i play "back" a little so i can watch catwalk and snipe peoples heads when they rush, but i tend to lean toward the B site.

when i get pushed with no smokes, i stand right up against the corner of the right wall near the b bombsite right up close, so i can see the double doors and i snipe people.

if i get smoked i fall all the way back to the b bombsite, then we rotate some shit at A.
