Man stink at this game, it's a success for me to get 1 kill, but i usually don't get one. I haven't played much at all, but that's about to change. I'm still trying to get the game loaded again and hopefully i will be getting killed a bunch tonight, a good night for me is getting my head blown off like 342 times. Anyway, I know i need the guide, maybe this payday and can swing it. Thanks nice meeting yall.

I was noob for a good year before becoming better. Practice controlling your burst and play defensively and then work your way to offensive gaming. Stick to ct side on most maps as well.

Cool!!!! I got 3 kills last night, I hope my teammates didn't mind me shooting them, har! No really I got a couple kills, I just get confused, don't know the map, everyone takes off running, so i take off running, where am i running to? I don't know but everyone else is running, hey there's a guy, should i shoot him? Is it my team? blam! I'm dead i guess it wasn't my team. I'll stop by tonight and school yall :)

Dm servers helped me develop my aim very quickly when I was newer, but it does jack shit for your map strategies/tatics. So I tried to mix both DM and regular servers into my play time. I would warm up in the DM server for about 30-45mins, get some good pratice in with my weapon for the day(you really wanna try and master the weapons one at a time.) Then move on to a regular server where I stayed until I was done playing.

Yeah when I was just beginning, I played in one server consistently until I picked up some basic strats. By then, they'd invited me to join their clan and that helped me further with scrimming.
There is something to be said for rushing like a madman, though; Pushes up your close-combat skills pretty damn quick.
I find DM servers help me less with my aim and more with the reflexes; In regular games, you Know where people are going to be, so you should be aiming in that area before you see them, possibly even prefiring. In DM's they pop up Everywhere, usually right beside you or behind you Even after you've just killed em. Seems to me that just improves your reaction time to bullets hitting you or targets popping up.
Speaking of which, I've been interested in making some training maps based off the CAL maps; essentially the same thing as that aim_pwnagetest, but with the more practical application of drilling proper sweeping techniques for groups of people.
Anybody have ideas with what software I could get that done?
