Record a demo, get FRAPS or another type of ingame cam, play the demo and use FRAPS to record it.

(That way you dont lose fps while you play ;))

Then use a program ie. Windows Movie Maker, or Vegas, to edit the clips and what-not

Like I said, make a demo of you playing, then use FRAPS to record the demo :p

I suppose there ought to be this question: With everyone capable of gathering "footage," Is there some kind of larger-scale project we could all work on together?

I don't know, maybe something simple like video profiles of WoP members with examples of them owning; Overviews of matches/scrims made from captures from the whole team's demos; Climbing nonsense/glitch documenting...

Any interest?

I think that's something we all want to do. Just haven't made the time to do it. We would like to first get intro clips for each member and make a member profile page. Definately will give it more thought after cal playoffs.

ya I suggested that but no one ever reponded if you guys wanted I could spec you all get some sick clips and put them into like a 15min video of all WoP members.

Heh, that reminds me, sky; I probably have some footage of you around; I was demoing most of the gameplay today.

What might be interesting for a side-project is a more intensive video lesson revolving around team tactics; Positioning, paths of movement, taking advantage of spawn locations to get places faster, or anything that isn't exactly an Individual drilling exercise.

OH yeah, and make sure your volume is down a bit, my speakers are on really long wires so I have to keep my system volume cranked to hear it. The music was what I was listening to, I forgot about it while Frapsing and was too lazy to bother fixing it.

Cool video, I'm an amateur graphics editor myself, I do it from time to time but have no real experience, I'd like to edit 'em if you want me to :D Obviously if they're recorded in the summer, because otherwise I have no off time :(
