I prefer not to post my screenshots of "pwnage" so that pride does not take hold of me. I am humble with my performance and I do not strive to be better then you or the next guy but to merely defeat my personal level best. There is no 110%. There is only you, and your level best.

My prose is deteriorating due to the time at which we find ourselves presently standing in; namely the end of the semester.
One more week and then freedom...from school and imprisonment by work D:

Oh, how'd you guess :)
Anyone who ever told you that an english major isn't going to get a job was lying. You always get that sort of remark from those majoring in the sciences and while they are held in bondage by their singular path, I am left unrestricted. Medical students can more or less only become doctors. English majors can be anything.
Unless your lazy. It's really about setting yourself up with internships in the subject you are thinking about exploring. For instance, if you like the idea of writing screenplays get an internship with a company whos focus is writing screenplays. If you're interested in drafting legislation or speaking to constituents, get an internship in the government. If your interest is managerial duties for a businesses - get that internship.
I'll probably be working towards the governmental area of things with a bit of creative screenplay writing on the side.

So true. A lot of english majors I know ended up working at dunkin donuts or some other fast food chain after graduation. You need a lot of ambition in order to get a good paying job as an english major; jobs just don't land on your lap.

Medical Students can only become doctors? Isn't that why they are going to medical school???? I guess you don't realize how big the medical field is, or the advantages of having an MD. Doctors can become anything, and some go on into law, politics, art, or the corperate world. Not only that, but they get chicks...hot chicks....hot nurse chicks....oh shit sorry lost my train of thought. There is nothing wrong with trying to make people more open minded about the arts, but try not to be close minded yourself about the sciences. I may be biased, but to me medicine is almost a pure unification of the arts and science.

English Majors are in demand, even outside the British Military.
[Beat]
I was under the impression that Pre-Med can be any degree and that Med School is the graduate studies for becoming an MD. Anybody with a PhD is a "Doctor," so with that in mind it is true "Doctors" can be anything. Even those with the MD status can pursue goals Outside the original bounds of Medicine, it doesn't mean that having an MD makes those goals Possible, and that you could not pursue those means with a different background.
I believe rew's declarations refer to the enhanced writing ability an English Major has; The multiple styles and levels of writing learnt would qualify said English Major for the multiple and broad fields that have a consistent need for professional writing without any additional schooling. Yes, MD's could go on and do anything, but just having the MD doesn't qualify them for anything Outside the realm of Medicine. Writing transcends almost all fields and professions, Medicine does not.

Medicine permeates life...and thats good enough for me 8) :P
Wow, when the hell did this conversation get from pwnage screenshots to an arguement over how much English majors pwn MD's?
My two cents: Does it really matter which one is better? MD's save lives and English majors write entertaining things.
Although from the looks of most doctors' handwriting(and spelling), it looks like they could use an English major themselves.

Doctors don't have enough time for hot chicks because they work 15-18 hours a day. Don't believe me? Go meet one and ask him how many hours he works a week.

Well...I'm going to be one in a few years...and I have a hot chick 8) :P. Depends on the specialty in terms of hours, but for surgery 100 hour weeks are not uber conducive for the chicks. That's why you gotta find them while you are in Medical School and hope they stick around in your residency. lol.
So that means what, you want to be a gynocologist.

No, Tk, seriously you do not want to be a gynecologist. I can say that definitively because you are a youngin and most probably thinking of the profession in the wrong terms.
You would spend years learning about diseases, diagnosing and treating sick women, the nastiest problems out there would be your responsibility to solve. You begin to associate that anatomical area with work, with disease and, after seeing so much of it, like television violence, become desensitized. There's nothing sexy about it, you'd be a professional physician treating women who are the farthest they could possibly be from being interested in Sex, who are in pain, and who need undiverted focus on Helping them; You would not have the perrogative of viewing these women in a sexual sense.
If you want to watch naked women in a business environment, Go start a strip club. No shame in it, i've got two friends from MuppetsInBlack who each own a stripclub/Bar, they're both happily married, and have a good life in addition to their businesses.
