How not to get flashed!!

Here's a trick not to get flashed. If you see a flash bang coming turn off your monitor. After you hear the flash bang go off, wait 2 second and turn your monitor back on. Using this you'll never get flashed!! I got this from some site (dont remember). The key to this trick is timing and reflex.

That is the most original and therefore sexiest subterfuge I've ever heard regarding CS. If there was a clapping emoticon i'd use it.

To prevent being blind, you'll shut off your monitor so you cannot see, and turn it on afterwards. Entire process, dependent on your monitor's startuptime, could take > 4 seconds.

You could just, you know, swivel your mouse away from where it lands and be only Fully blind for <.25 seconds, with both hands on keyboard/mouse ready to fire.

Other thing you could do is use the fraction of a second between the moment you see the flash being thrown and it going off to cap the thrower in the head.

if u scope in at a wall (or oppasite direction from flash) the flash will last no time atall

my monitor is like a fing car it takes forever and anyway if ur good ull turn away from flash and ull be blindish but u can still see i get tons of awp shots half blind

Or set up your gun where you know they're gonna rush in and spray. I got 4 kills blind as T with a p90 as I was blinded. Man, those guys didn't lay off their mikes for like 10 min. lol

Just look in the opposite direction of the grenade--even if this does not completely nullify the blindness, it helps.

Also, while blind, holding tab to look at the scores lets you see through the flash a bit earlier (through the scoreboard, at least).

i think the best way.. it has worked for me some times is when u get flashed move ure mouse around alot and walk as much as posible and it wears off quikly..

Hahah. Well it would work if you managed to rebind it.

Best way will always be to turn opposite direction from the flash, or look into a corner away from a flash. Experience and visualization will help compensate for the times when you're flashed.

The most noobish thing to do when flashed is run around aimlessly. You know what direction you were facing. You know your surroundings. You have two Good options; back up or go forward to a better position, or Stay put and Fire where you know the enemy will be.

When RUSHING as T with teammates and you're flashed, Don't stop. You might get picked off by rushing forward, but if you stop, you block everyone, and you ALL lose your chance to burst forward and take the offensive position.
