som1 smart help with video card plz

hi, i installed my video card and installed the drivers and everything but the boxes are white and all the graphix suck and i get like 10 fps on CUSTOM maps... i dont know what is wrong some1 please help me. aim is sublime53190. thank you for your time

What is your motherboard?

Is it a pci-e card?

yeah it would be helpful to know the make/model of the video card.

Try updating the drivers. If you only put the drivers that the cd has then those are out of date most likely.

Also if it is a custom map, you may not have all the textures? Do you see everything on standard maps such as de_dust and de_aztec?

If you get a card make sure it is a x700 or above for ATI
or a 6800 gtx or above for NVIDIA. Only trus BFG saphiore or ATI
