I never hacked in my life, I only tried out a bot or whatever, I did it for like 5 mins and it sucked ass, that was like over April Vacation, but I only did it for ****ing 5 minutes to see what the fuss was all about, and let me tell you right now it sucks, and I will never hack again, because this is some ****ing bullshit, ****.

I saw the OZ guys on One night. They were pretty well organized and good players from what I saw. Had no problem playing against each other, either, so I figure that indicates at least something else about their characters.

Yes they are organized but only because they are a clan and they are smart. They are also some pretty decent players, although some of them could use some practice, the majority of them are pretty good. If only just some of the newbs who's team I'm always on actually started using tactics once in awhile it would be better when playing against someone like them when they are on same team, not to mention my [FoX] clan is ok, but we haven't really gotten any strategies down yet :cry: .

Wow, you guys are so funny, really I luv yah, but anyways I don't exactly know what your talking about, sure you can call me a hacker if you want, but in the 4 years that I've played CS I only tried to hack to see what it was like for 5-10 minutes like back in April, and this was before the clan recruitment on that Sunday, anyways why would I actualy tell you guys that I have tried hacking before if not to just warn you that it stinks, and only people that truly suck as CS should even try using it, even then it's not ok.

Right, so obviously I don't really mean that, since there isn't enough evidence or indication that's how you felt; Don't get all flustered and defensive, it's just a possible scenario. Of course, if it happens to be true, i'd like to take full credit for exposing you. Elsewise, I don't have anything against you anyways, so go on about your merry business.


Yes, Hacking... Has Bunsen ever tried it? No, what reason is there to automate playing a game? It makes no bloody sense to me. However I wouldn't label ALL hacks as "Cheating," since it's clear that the automation of aiming is just Automation. Cheating is done surrepticiously, and I would put things like WallHacks and Model modification under the "Cheating" banner, marking just about the most distasteful thing a person could do in civilized competition. Anybody who Aimbots isn't actually playing, they're just messing around most likely for shits and giggles. They don't take the game seriously; they're simply out to piss people off. This Aimbotting is best put beside and akin to the gambler with 4 aces up his sleeves, or the predetermined winners of the Olympic Figure Skating a few years back.

The clandestine WallHack or Flashbang/Smoke cure, however ultimately useless they may be to an unskilled player, is more akin to the Steroid use of professional athletes, and thus far more deplorable than the often blatant Aimbot. The people who would employ such devices have so much pride invested in their in-game performance that they must do everything they can to gain an advantage, but will not use the aimbot because they know they cannot claim any skill when they use it.

That is not to say there aren't people who use Every hack out there. There would probably be an equal number of "Haxxors" who employ every trick, hack and mod to pretend they pwn people as the ones who employ Only the one or the other. I would argue, however, that the majority of those who use Aimbot are still grouped with the first group of hackers I discussed, and any "skilz" they claim are more for gaining the upper hand in the resulting inflammatory trash-talking aspect than an ingrained sense of pride in Pwning people.


Edit: I forgot to add something: I did spend some time Looking for hacks, as an exercise in seeing how easy it would be to find them. I had hoped that my findings would be able to give me an idea how many hackers there really Are out there. I found only 1 site that seemed legitimate enough in offering "hacks" that I actually believed the files on there were useable in that sense, and not, as I would have them, a covert planting of viruses to attack or embarass cheaters. Granted, I can't remember the website now, but I do recall emailing Valve about them; Silly noobish Bunsen never got a response.
