Anyone have the full version i can have? Or how you use it to make demos it only records 30 seconds?

Usually most peoples frag sprees dont really last longer than 20 secs anyway so you can just use the trial but crop the watermark out at the top :)

Or...

You can use a program called 'GameCam' it is unlimited but you cant have sound (which doesnt bother me cos I play music over the top).

hey, i know this is an old topic but i know where you can get the registered version of fraps (gets jumped on by gamers)
and it doesnt have problems like gamecam for steam.
but gamecam is good for people who dunno camera angle commands for their demo files

Illegally distributed registered Fraps versions can most probably be found in the usual network files trading circles, like torrent trackers and the old donkey servers.

However, I strongly recommend buying it (http://www.fraps.com/buy.php) simply because it is worth paying for, if you plan on using it regularly.

For $37.00 you get to record footage for any game (preferably not a game that already has in game recording like half life/source engine games) very quickly in the quality of your choice.

If you plan to use it for recording CS or CS:S footage, I advise using the record/startmovie technique instead of bothering with Fraps as it is the best way to get high quality footage and the way I have had more success with.
