Man I got a steal pad last week, now all's I need is a new optical mouse that doesn't go ****ing crazy while it's riding it. So I use the ball mouse, still sucks :(

Actually, I have to agree. Recently I've been playing with no mouspad and I've seen only improvements. The area of my desk that I'm using is much larger than any mousepad you can buy and the movement is very smooth.

Yeah but if you use a shiny surface, then the light can shine into the laser and affect your movement. This occurs regularaly with me, when I'm playing the mouse cursor would just "jump" in one direction. Maybe it's just my mouse.. :p

I prefer not to use a pad because there is a lot larger area to move your mouse with, you are not restricted to one small square of your desk.

Just got the steelpad 5L for my copperhead. This mousepad BLOWS NUTS. Its horrid for players who have high sensitivity. Looks like it skips and does not feel like it is a constant registration for the mouse - example u move 1 inch to the right it will move more than you expect it to move compared to moving it upwards 1 inch.

Exactmat - Thin, cold to the touch, skips, rubber on bottom cant hold it to the table, blows as well.

Mantis - its a clothe pad. lawl

Thunderpad 8 - best so far.

Funcpad - ok but a bit cheap and not that good of reg as thunderpad.

Icemats - wow these really blow nuts. Avoid.

Next to be tested steelpad qck.
