Honestly, my preference stems from having the Smaller Null space encompasing the entire head when I aim mid range.

The "hairs" of the crosshairs are large enough that I can use them to aim when I spray, but the entire thing is small enough that I can try to be more selective about aiming for headshots long range.

i use 10000 size, i dont tend to spray so i like to be able to get very percise shots, i did try 500 but i couldnt get used to it...

10,000? Isn't that like, just a small dot on your screen? If I had my xhairs that small I wouldn't be able to see it on maps like dust2...

There's also the cl_crosshaircolor and cl_crosshairalpha or cl_crosshairusealpha values that'll change colour and opaqueness of the crosshair.

I usually have mine bright Green.

It actually just is personal preferrence, i use Large non translucent crosshair on a 1024/768 monitor. It's perfect for me :).

Just use whatever you think you kill best with.. if you do decide to change, dont give up in like 2 days. It takes alot of time; im guessing like a week+..

my crosshair size is usually like 35000 or 40000, it gets hard to see sometimes but after u play the game u tend to know where your crosshair should be :p

Theres no difference from like 5000 upwards , so u could have 10000 or 9999999 and it wouldnt really make a difference.

I use a bind to switch my crosshair size between 1000 and 4000; 4000 for pistols or when I know I'm taking a specific long range shot, and 1000 for the rest of the time. Best of both worlds :) .

i'd say it's probs best not to play with small because if you are in a small part of the map and u need to set up a quik spot kil and lets say you miss the first shot its going to be alot harder to re adjust ur crosshair to the head but with a small setting crosshair you know where it is all time , plus i tryed 5000 once and i just cudent spray at short range or close the recoil was just to crazy its only good for head shots but if you know where the bullets land on a small crosshair then its just as accurate
