I perfer the diamondback too, but I'll try out the new Habu. I tried out Fatality's mouse a few weeks ago and ended up exchanging it for another diamondback. :D

Diamondback or copperhead.

O and if you get a diamondback get one off ebay or the old ones in the larger boxes. the new ones now have a lower quaility feel to them.

Deathadder looks ok but we'll see.

i tried a habu...felt great looked great perfect combo of the 2 mice...one small problem...it only tracks @ 125hz, 90% of installs wont let the habu use the razer synch software...if you have 64 bit...there is NO fix...not for months 6 to a year

I bought a deathadder and it seriously owns. Perfect control and really little resistance on the speed side of my exactmat. This reminds me to thrash my g15

i love my copperhead,
tried the habu and its too chunky and feels like cheap plastic to me tbh.
And i use a copperhead, wouldnt mind trying a diamondback, i think my mum bought mine first hand, i wish i knew this before christmas pig

I just purchased a Diamondback and did some bursting and strafe-stop practice with it for the first time last night. I had been using the Logitech MX-518 so it was an interesting comparision:

MX-518 cons:
Big
Heavy
Teeny-tiny buttons on the top near the scroll wheel were hard to use
Driver conflicts with my rig

Pros:
Side buttons are really easy to use - I had one thumb button toggled to my mic and it worked like a dream
Surface stayed cool - never noticed any sweat
Tracked smooth, never had any problems with skipping

Diamondback pros:
Light. I mean this thing feels like a feather compared to the Logitech
Scroll wheel has nice firm detents

Cons:
Side buttons are, in a word, wierd. It's gonna take some time to get used to.
My middle finger wants to use the right button, instead of resting on the wheel. (This may just be me being used to the Logitech)
My palm got sweaty

In terms of play - the Diamondback's weight makes it a lot easier to control bursting - with no change in my sensitivity the pull-down was very 'intuitive'.

In the end, it comes down to play style and what you like to 'feel' in a mouse. If you like using more forearm movements and being very deliberate with movements, then the MX-518 is a good choice. If you prefer more subtle movements and lighter weights then the Diamondback is the way to go. As someone who has tried both, I'm sold on the Razer and I'm not going back to the Logitech.
