Demo.avi?

I know how to start a demo and how to play it but can i convert it or..? What do u guys do?

Hey,

What you have to do is go to fraps.com and download the demo. After you installed it open the program and then start CSS and play the demo. The only thing about the demo version is that it only runs at 30 FPS and records for so long. So you have to record what you really want at the right time.

Tbh, fraps is the devil but it's the easy way of doing things. In the end though the video quality is bad. Google source recorder evon, see what tutorials come up. It converts demos or sections into avi, but you have to play them in real time as if you were recording it. Best thing is even on my bad pc, I can make full graphic movies with this technique, if you want good quality, record at lcd resolution and don't compress the video until you've done editing.

I don't do the avi side of things though, I get mine to render at 30 fps, and it takes loads of pictures and they end up in my cstrike folder. I then stitch them all together and convert to avi, then edit, then compress and upload.
