Introduction to World of Pwnage and its founders Pig and Payne

Pig and Payne started playing CS around 1999 when they were in high school. Henry, aka Payne, hated CS at first and did not see what the point of playing it is. But after playing Max Payne, he was hooked on the rush of killing and gave CS a second chance and took the game more seriously. Wilson, aka Pig, started playing CS around the same time. He, like Payne, was into RTS and RPGs before CS. He took on the handle The Pig after playing Stronghold, an RTS game. The Stronghold character The Pig was known for his brute force and rushing style in Stronghold which Wilson later adapted and emulated in his CS game play.

WoP's take on Counter-Strike:

Counter-Strike is a game that takes skill, patience and "work" to master. But what makes it really special is that it reflects back on one's behavior and mentality. It really shows us what we are made of as humans - if you're confident and courageous or a coward and fearing at heart. I believe in the potential in all of us to learn from each other and become true PWNERS in CS and in the games of life. Remember the WoP adage about pwnage in games and in life - "It comes from the heart kid."
